The 10th Annual NERI Labour Market Conference took place in the Quinn Building, UCD on Tuesday 14th June in association with UCD and the Geary Institute.
The conference included research papers on various aspects of the labour market and labour market policy. Professor John Geary, UCD presented first findings from the UCD Working in Ireland Survey 2021 that he co-authored with Dr. Maria Belizón, UCD. Morgan O'Donnell and Sam Scriven, CSO presented on earnings and labour costs including the impact of the Employment Wage Subsidy Scheme.
Other subjects that were discussed included gender income inequality, precarious employment, the Irish housing market and the pandemic unemployment payment. All the presentations are available here
