Dr Lisa Wilson will begin the seminar by presenting findings on her recently published paper titled 'How Unequal? The unadjusted gender pay gap in earnings in Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland'. This paper concerns itself with the unadjusted gender pay gap across the island of Ireland. In so doing, it presents estimates of the scale of the unadjusted gender pay gap in both Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. This paper is available here.
Following the initial presentation a discussant will comment and analyse different aspects of the paper with the hope of opening up a more engaged discussion on the issues raised in the paper.
Attendees will also have an opportunity to ask questions directly to the speakers or alternatively via the Q&A function which will then be put forward by the chair.
