Mr. Michael Taft, Research Officer, SIPTU gave his analysis of Budget 2026. Subsequently, there was a Q&A section where the chairperson, Dr. Tom McDonnell, NERI presented questions from attendees to Michael.
Biography of presenter:
Mr. Michael Taft is a Research Officer with SIPTU and author of Notes on the Front, a political economy blog. He is also a member of the National Competitiveness and Productivity Council, and the Low Pay Commission.
