Resilient growth: A policy framework for the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland seminar took place in the Fórsa offices on Wednesdsay 7 December, 2022 from 15:30 - 16:30.

NERI co-directors Paul Mac Flynn and Dr. Tom McDonnell outlined their policy framework for resilient and inclusive growth in Northern Ireland and in the Republic of Ireland. Intensive and environmentally sustainable growth is central to ongoing durable improvements in economic and social well-being.

The presenters outlined the combination of ingredients necessary for resilient growth and assessed the long-running performance and potential of both economies across a number of dimensions. Finally, the presenters discussed the range of policy reforms needed if we are to sustainably enhance the innovative and productive capacities of these economies.

Subsequently, a discussion will be open to the floor where the chairperson, Paul Goldrick-Kelly, NERI presented questions to the speakers.
