Quarterly Economic Facts Northern Ireland indicators - January 2013
Each quarter the NERI launches an edition of Quarterly Economic Facts. The document brings together key indicators on the economies of Ireland, north and south. In each editon we compile the indicators under a series of headings dealing with areas such as people in paid work, people out of work, labour costs, the distribution of income and wealth, poverty and social exclusion, social welfare payments and public finances. Within these sections the indicators releavant to both the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland are presented.
To assist readers in assessing the range of indicators we have compiled for Northern Ireland, this document presents the indicators from the latest edition of the QEF which are focused on the Nothern Irish economy. Over time we are adding more indicators to this document and any suggestions for new indicators, or revisions to existing ones, are welcome.
