Topic: Budget 2020: Reflections and Analysis
Speakers: Michael Taft (SIPTU), Michelle Murphy (Social Justice Ireland) and Robert Sweeney (TASC).
Michael Taft is a researcher for SIPTU and author of the political economy blog, 'Notes on the Front'.
Michelle Murphy is Research and Policy Analyst with Social Justice Ireland. Key areas of responsibility include researching and developing policy and strategies in the areas of education, income distribution, rural development, and sustainability and taxation.
Robert Sweeney is the FEPS TASC policy analyst and researcher on economic policy. He is currently the lead researcher on a project examining the interaction between economic inequality and cost of living considerations in Ireland and Europe. Robert has a PhD in economics from University of Leeds in which he examined the growth of the financial sector in Europe. He also has degrees from Trinity College Dublin and Dublin City University.

The three speakers will each make a brief presentation responding to aspects of Budget 2020. Subsequently, the discussion will be open to the floor.
