Launch of NERI Quarterly Economic Observer - Summer, 2019
18 July 2019
This year’s Summer edition of the NERI Quarterly Economic Observer marks the 29th edition. The purpose of the Quarterly Economic Observer (QEO) is to provide regular, accessibly and timely commentary on the Irish Economy, North and South.
In addition to updated economic forecasts for 2019 and 2020 the Summer Quarterly will examine a range of potential reforms to the taxation of property and wealth with a particular focus on the Republic of Ireland.
The NERI will also present its updated projections for the Irish economy and will discuss the major risks and uncertainties facing the economy.
The launch will include a short presentation of the report’s main findings followed by questions from the floor.
